Alamance County, North Carolina

Alamance County is a county in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2010 census, the population was 151,131. Its county seat is Graham. Formed in 1849 from Orange County to the east, Alamance County has been the site of significant historical events, textile manufacturing, and agriculture.



Alamance County comprises the Burlington Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point Combined Statistical Area. The 2018 estimated population of the metropolitan area was 166,436.

HAW RIVER, NORTH CAROLINA. JUNE 29, 2020. HAVE YOU SEEN ME? MISSING JUVENILE INVESTIGATION. Police in North Carolina are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 14 year old juvenile who was last seen last week in his rural Alamance County, North Carolina residence.




Authorities indicate that 14 year old Carlin Michael Carey was last seen around 9:00 am on the morning of Tuesday, June 23, 2020.
