Missing fugitive from Pender, Nebraska

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. MONDAY, MARCH 2, 2020. A former Pilger man has escaped from the Thurston County jail in Pender, Nebraska this afternoon and should be considered dangerous. Law enforcement officials are asking the public to be on the lookout for him.



The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says that 26 year-old Cody Murphree escaped around 1:00 pm on March 1, 2020 and was last seen traveling by foot and wearing a white thermal top and shorts.



Wanted fugitive from Delaware County, New York apprehended

Delaware County Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced today that an inmate released from the Delaware County Correctional Facility on Tuesday afternoon as a direct result of New York State’s new Bail Reform laws that went into effect on January 1, 2020, was re-arrested and committed to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on new charges hours after his release on recognizance.
