UPDATE: Layne has been found safe. Original alert is below. WAPELLO COUNTY, IOWA. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2020. MISSING TEENAGER REPORT. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. PLEASE HELP POLICE OFFICERS. Sheriff's deputies in Iowa have created an alert for a juvenile who went missing in Iowa.

Today the Wapello County Sheriff's Office reports that 15 year old Layne A. Pottorff was reported missing.

Layne was registered as a missing juvenile with the Wapello County Sheriff in Ottumwa, Iowa.


Authorities describe Layne as a 15 year old white male with blonde hair and hazel eyes.

He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 147 pounds.
