Missing 81 with Alzheimer's disease from Descanso, California

DESCANSO, CALIFORNIA. MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2020. MISSING SENIOR CITIZEN. ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. PLEASE HELP. Police in California have created an alert for an elderly man with Alzheimer's disease who went missing recently.

Authorities with the San Diego County Sheriff's Office want to know if you have seen 81 year old Kenneth Zimmerman.

Officials indicate that Kennekth is a missing person at risk from Descanso, California.


Zimmerman's family says he's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and high blood pressure.

He's known to visit businesses in Alpine, California and the Home Depot in El Cajon, California.

Kenneth left his residence in Descanso, California on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in a gold Toyota Tundra with California license plate 8E41946 to get a newspaper and did not return.

The Toyota Tundra has a black toolbox in the bed.


Kenneth suffers from Alzheimer's and high blood pressure. Authorities are concerned because he didn't take his blood pressure medication and is not believe to have taken his medicine with him.

Officials indicate that he doesn't have a cell phone on his person.

Kenneth was last seen driving towards Highway 79 from 34680 Viejas Boulevard in Descanso, California around 12:30 pm on the afternoon.

Kenneth is described as an 81 year old white male with light skin, white hair, and blue eyes.

He stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

When last seen, Kenneth was wearing a white cowboy hat, a dark blue short-sleeve shirt, and blue jeans.
