Jozanna has been found safe

UPDATE: Jozanna has been found safe. Original alert is below. SUMTER COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31, 2021. MISSING CHILD REPORT. SHERIFF'S OFFICE INVESTIGATION. PLEASE ASSIST. When a child goes missing, a community springs into action to help find the child. Law enforcement officials are asking for your help on this case.

Deputies are continuing the search for 11 year old Jozanna Quezada. Officials have multiple teams searching the area around Sans Souci Road, Edgehill Road, and Raccoon Road.

Jozanna walked away from her residence to "cool off" after an argument with a sibling. The Sumter County Sheriff's Office is working with the FBI and SLED to get this information out and locate Jozanna.

A reverse 911 message is being created to make citizens in the area aware of the situation and to keep an eye open for Jozanna.

We urge anyone with information about Jozanna's whereabouts or information about someone she could be in contact with to call us at (803) 436-2000.

PREVIOUS INFORMATION: Jozanna Lynn Quezada, age 11, was last seen at the corner of Edghill Road and Raccoon Road at about 6 p.m. on March 30, 2021. She left her residence on Sans Souci Road at about 5:30 p.m.

Jozanna has brown hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet tall and about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray T-shirt with pink stripes and elbow length sleeves, and no shoes.

Jozanna does not have any medical concerns.
