CJ has been found safe

UPDATE: CJ has been found safe. Original alert is below. HARLAN COUNTY, KENTUCKY. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2020. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. MISSING JUVENILE REPORT. PLEASE ASSIST. Police in the Commonwealth of Kentucky are requesting the assistance of the community in helping locate a boy who went missing yesterday.

14 year old Coy Jayson Bledsoe is believed to have left the home of a relative sometime between late on the evening of Saturday, October 10, 2020 and early morning, Sunday, October 11, 2020.

Coy, who goes by the nickname of CJ, was last seen in the Baxter community of Harlan County and is registered as a missing juvenile with the Kentucky State Patrol, Post 10.


Authorities describe CJ as a 14 year old white male with brown hair that is a little longer than in the picture below and blue eyes.

He stands approximately 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 90 pounds.
