LONGVIEW, TEXAS. AUGUST 9, 2020. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. Police in Texas continue to ask the community at large for their help in sharing the information of a woman who went missing five months ago from Gregg County, Texas.

This story is a follow up to a previous story we did in July 2020 about Ashley Ballenger Pierce. The Texas Department of Public Safety lists Ashley's name as Ashley Lynn Ballenger while other sources credit it as Ashley Pierce.

In addition, it took significant work and dedication by family members, friends, and investigators to finally get the word out in press releases and other media outlets that Ashley has been missing since March 2020.

Authorities report that 33 year old Ashley Lynn Ballenger was last seen on March 10, 2020 in Longview, Texas. Multiple people on social media and news sources have profiled Ashley's disappearance and friends and family remain hopeful that someone will recognize her in the community and help bring her home safely.

Authorities are extremely concerned about Ashley, as she has now been gone for 5 months. She has not been seen or heard from since March 10, 2020.

Ashley, who is known to go by the last name of Pierce, is registered as a missing person with the Gregg County Sheriff's Office. She is also listed as a missing person with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Authorities describe Ashley as a 33 year old female with brown hair and blue eyes.

She stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds.

Ashley has a labret piercing, a type of lip piercing done below the lip and above the chin. Ashley's piercing is under the right side of her lip.

In addition, both of her ears are pierced. She is known for wearing hoop style earrings and might wear eyeglasses.

Ashley has a Hello Kitty tattoo on her thigh and a scorpion tattoo on her back.
